Since starting this program 5 weeks ago I have lost 15 lbs of pure fat and added so much tone its great. I initially bought insanity workout from the same company but it was too cardio based which I find v annoying. With this one I don't even do the cardio or leg workouts and just go for a 45min run instead. The upperbody stuff is prettty sick and can't even lift my arms in the shower. I highly recommened this program to anyone with will power and poeple who are willing to remove 45mins from their day and completely rag it!!!!
This course is not for the faint hearted. We have just started to do the course and we hope to be able to stick at it until the finish. Like all exercise, they work only if you stick at them. But this one is the best I have seen, it does cover a lot of different styles and areas and for that reason it truely works your body. I have found that most fitness programs only work certain areas, not with this one. Wish us luck, but this product is a great deal
So.. a friend of mine told me about the P90X program and showed me some of the results that people had been having and I was intrigued so see if it would actually work. I received the box set within a few days and couldn't wait to start. The program works in 3 phases... you can reserach online the order in which to do it - and I assure you, this is not for the faint hearted. It's an intense program, but you are left feeling incredible afterwards. It's great that each day is different so that you don't get bored. Each day you have to work out for at least an hour, 6 days a week which can be a lot for some, but the results are most definitely worth it!! I changed my diet at the start of the program to a high protein, lower carbs and low fat and I lost 10lb in two weeks! My body has changed... I've shed fat and developed muscles where I didn't even know I had them! The only accessories you really need are some decent resistance bands (I hook them over the top of the bannister for the pull up sections) and some fairly heavy weights will be useful. The dvds show some alternate versions if you find some moves too hard. I've tried so many fitness dvds, but this has to be the ultimate in home fitness. I love Tony Horton, the guy who instructs the dvds - he's very inspirational and keeps you motivated! This is a brilliant investment and I 100% definitely recommend it! P90X - BRING IT!!! :-)
My partner and I have been doing p90x for four weeks now and cannot believe how much my body has changed in that time I started out as a size 14 and can nearly fit into a size 12 this is also down to changing my bad eating habits My butt is firmer my waist line has shrunk and my stomach alot more taut. We have another eights weeks to go before finishing the programme but feel we may continue with it as it is now part of our life style. It's hard work and not for the faint hearted but anyone who has not done any exercise before and wish to take this on I would suggest you build up a good level of fitness first before embarking on this programme. Another thing that will help is to drink energy drinks and water to hydrate the body to give you energy while working out. Tony can be rather annoying at times but he knows his stuff and a good trainer and looks amazing at the age of 45. My partner is 40 and looks amazing. There is no turning back for us! This resistance band is the strongest band I've seen and used so far. It gives you a really good work out and is ideal if you only have a limited space in your room. It saves a lot of space in the room and money from buying dumbbells too. Brilliant!
As stated cords are really strong extreme tension not at all weak and pathetic like some I've had. Handles are substantial and fit the largest of hands
When I first looked into buying a resistance band I was a bit sceptical. I thought are they really as good as these promotion vids make out? I can tell you now, I've had this product for around a month now an it is the most versatile and best tool I have in my arsenal! You can perform almost every exercise you can ever imagine using these bands!. I bought the heavyweight "blue band" first, which wasn't really strong enough just to use alone (if you want to become a monster) but along with the black sniper band and weights you will have an amazing workout! If your still in two minds like i was, buy one and try it out! You'll be amazed!
These ripcords are excellent quality and great value for money. These are high tensile usage...not recommended for beginners ,who would struggle to use them. Overall....great buy and highly recommended.
